Job Description

Consultant Engineering, Inc. (CEI) is an Arizona owned and operated professional construction engineering firm headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. As one of the Southwest’s largest construction management firms, we also provide project controls (scheduling/cost estimating), right of way (appraisals, acquisition, and relocation services) and land surveying services. We are hiring a dynamic and personable intermediate recruiter to assist in our recruiting team spread across three companies. In this position you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our talent strategy in civil/construction management. You will support the overall recruitment and staffing effort by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the full recruitment cycle. In this role you will support key talent acquisition initiatives including sourcing, diversity outreach, social media, job boards and pipelining. The Recruiter must have a sense of urgency, be well organized, technically savvy, experienced with diverse sourcing techniques, and possess a high attention to detail. In addition, we are looking for the right person who would also like to assume a lead role in the future.

Job Requirements
  • Interact with senior and mid-level management on a consistent basis to ensure HR hiring processes are consistently followed.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop or modify job descriptions.
  • Screen resumes for appropriate skills, credentials, experience, and knowledge as well as conduct in person and phone screen interviews to determine technical and cultural fit.
  • Demonstrate a record of name generation, sourcing, cold calling, networking, and successful hiring in a highly competitive industry.
  • Keep updated all ATS full cycle recruitment activity as well as Excel, Deltek and BI reporting.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years recruiting experience in the ACEC industry preferred. (Construction Management/Civil Engineering)
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent people skills, easily engage and converse with people and foster relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
  • Aspire to take on the lead recruiting role within the company in the future by taking initiative in tasks that promote and engage the hiring process within the organization.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience- $50,000 – $60,000K
  • Excellent low or no out pocket Health Insurance, Matching 401K, PTO, and holiday package.
  • Flex and hybrid office environment available after the training period, offering a mix of in-office and remote work.
